3/11 4:49pm

Out of the hospital but still recovering at the nursing facility.

This is from the mouth of Rich, transcribed by me, Rachael, over the phone. Dad was in a rhyming mood, not sure if it was from the pain medication or from pain itself.
"First surgery done, it wasn't fun, not sure how long till the next one. Thank you all for seeing me through. Now it's time for number two. "

  1. Rich, Whatever has inspired your creative words....bring it on! Praising God that the first surgery is completed with no complications. We're still praying for "above and beyond"!
Praying throughout each day for all of you.
    Love, Gary and Carol

  2. Glad to hear you are in good spirits, Rich. I called my mom and read her words to you and she said to tell you that you are in her thoughts and prayers and she is glad to be able to get updates on you. She has a bit of a hard time understanding I can send you a message and it will get to you right then. Her mind still thinks in terms of the US snail mail. She also said she has been remembering all the times you were with our family doing things when you were younger.
My prayers are still with you, too. Get rest and feel better.
